Writers Guild Kenya: Your Gateway to Publishing Success.

Welcome Aspiring And Established Authors!

Writers Guild Kenya offers a comprehensive suite of services to support you on your publishing journey:

What is Self-publishing service?

A self-publishing service helps authors publish their work independently, without a traditional publisher.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Self-publishing

Writers Guild-Kenya bridges the gap between advantages and disadvantages above by offering the following services:

  1. Pre-Publication
  • Manuscript Evaluation/Assessment: Writers Guild Kenya receives a sample of your manuscript (first few chapters) for evaluation. This assesses its readiness for publishing and provides written feedback (separate fee).
  • Contract Signing: If the manuscript is deemed publishable, you’ll sign a self-publishing agreement outlining terms, timelines, and costs.
  1. Production
  • Project Planning: Collaboratively set realistic timelines for editing, design, and printing.
  • Editorial Services: Choose your editing tier (Platinum, Gold, Bronze) and proceed with editing, proofreading, and revisions.
  • Book Design & Layout: Work with designers to create a professional cover and interior layout for your book.
  1. Publication & Distribution (Optional)
  • Printing & Delivery: Approve final proofs and arrange printing (costs separate). Writers Guild-Kenya may assist with recommendations.
  • Book Launch & Distribution: Discuss options for book launch events and distribution channels (separate agreement required).
  1. After Publication (Optional)
  • Marketing & Sales Support: Writers Guild-Kenya may offer additional services or resources to help you promote your book (separate fees may apply).
